The Cantonese Choir leads others to meditate and praise God through various forms of beautiful Chinese Christian music. Each week's practice time not only includes learning and perfecting music, but fellowship and the sharing of choir members' personal testimonies with their walk with God. Each member grows spiritually by serving our Lord together in unity.

Music has been used for thousands of years to express worship to God, and the English praise team strives to enable others to express themselves to God in this way, seeking new and creative ways of magnifying God while honoring the rich and powerful history of music throughout Church history.

Every Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the CBC parking lot free food is available for those who are in need. The food comes from Trader Joe’s and is delivered by faithful servants of Jesus. Once the van is unloaded and the food is prayed over, guests can take as much food as they need or share some with others they know have a need.

The Mission Ministry connects the church to mission work, both local and global, by building awareness and educating about missions. They work with missionaries and mission organizations to help CBC get as personally involved in missions as possible, going on church-wide missions trips, and coordinating financial support for missionaries not supported through the monthly offering.

Join us in reaching out to those in need in San Mateo and the peninsula. On the second Saturday of the month, we prepare and serve a warm, pot-luck meal and invite the community to join us. It is a great time to eat and share God's love with those who come from throughout the community.

The First Line Ministry is the "face" of the church for people checking CBC out for the first time. Not only do they greet everyone into our Sunday worship service, but also hand out service bulletins, take the offering, present gifts to first time visitors, provide information as needed, and maintain a God-focused and worshipful atmosphere.
